Newham BID in Truro has teamed up with online training provider SEEDL to offer all employees within Newham's business community FREE, unlimited access to up to 200 live courses at any given time. Newham BID is the first industrial BID in the British Isles to take up this unique opportunity. This innovative learning hub provides a wide range of topics designed to support the training needs of Newham's diverse businesses including employees from trade counters, hauliers, garages or professional services.
The learning solution offers topics that help local employees learn new skills, help their employer’s performance and ultimately support businesses on Newham.
Businesses in Newham and their employees can now choose from a variety of subjects, including Office 365, Project Management, Mental Wellness, Manual Handling, Health & Safety, First Aid Training and COSHH training. All courses are delivered through live interactive webinars, with the option to catch up later, offering Newham businesses flexible learning opportunities tailored to their schedules. On completing a course, the employee can download a Newham BID completion of learning certificate, helping those staff evidence their personal development.
