Truro Recycling Centre has named Children’s Hospice Southwest as their charity of the year

Truro Recycling Centre has named Children’s Hospice Southwest as their charity of the year.
The family-run scrap metal business, based in Lighterage Hill, Newham, will be raising funds through regular donations.
Manager Roman Drew recently announced that the firm would no longer be making payments for scrap metal under the value of £10.
Instead, a donation will be made to Children’s Hospice South West, which provides care for children and young people living with life-limiting conditions.
Roman said: “As a company, we wanted to make sure that our donations were going to those who are really making a difference in our community.
“Supporting local organisations is important to us and after seeing how hard the charity works, we really didn’t think twice about offering them our support.”
